  • Fixed nominal cost for updating your valuation in the future

VALUATION FOR INSURANCE REPLACEMENT

£55 report fee plus :

£40 for each gem-set item

£25 for each non gem-set item

£40 for each "grouped" heading

Upwards of £50 for each "exceptional" item

VALUATION UPDATES (RE-VALUATION)

All future updates to one of our valuation reports are carried out for a £55 report cost only, irrespective of the number of items

VALUATION FOR CONFIRMATION OF WILL (PROBATE, IN ENGLAND), FOR INHERITANCE TAX

£55 report fee plus £100 per hour. Please call for an estimate

VALUATION FOR PRIVATE SALE, SALE BETWEEN PARTIES OR FAIR OPEN MARKET VALUE

This is a free service intended to identify which of your items require a valuation and to provide a clear plan of action for you to follow, if you wish

OUT-OF-HOURS SERVICE ii

Work performed outside 9am to 5pm is charged at normal rates plus a one-off £25 out-of-hours fee

DOMICILE VALUATIONS

In some instances, an "on site" valuation may be more appropriate

£55 report fee plus £100 per hour, including the travelling time

Travelling expenses charged at £0.30 per mile

If an overnight stay is required this will be charged at cost (our requirements are not extravagant)

COLLECTOR'S SERVICE iii

This service is specifically designed for clients who add to their jewellery collection on a regular basis. (say four or more pieces in a 12 month period)

An item fee is charged for the valuation of each item as it is purchased. A PDF format report is e-mailed to the client on each occasion

£55 report fee is charged 12 months later for a full printed jewellery valuation detailing all the items collected in previous 12 months
